What does good health mean to you?
For some people, good health just means freedom from pain or illness.
For others it may mean playing three sets of tennis or hiking trip.
Many people fall in between, and for them good health means walking the dog, gardening, going out to dinner, or enjoying family holidays.
What good health means to you depends on your background, your current circumstance, your past goals, and the goals you have today.
Above all, we want you to be able to realize your idea of good health, so your IBD stays in the background and doesn’t take over your life.
We want you to enjoy yourself, be productive, whether that means working, taking care of your family, traveling, or attending school.
You may need to plan a bit more. That planning could range from packing extra medication or stoma supplies to knowing where the bathrooms to traveling at certain times of the day. You may need to avoid certain foods.
This is a team effort. We will work with you to help you achieve your idea of good health.
